On Friday the 5th October we had a special non- uniform day in school. It was ‘Wear a Hat Day’. Children were asked for donations towards H.A.N.D – Helping Autism in the Newry and District charity.
To support our donation Mr. Magee also took part in the Newtown Half Marathon. The children enjoyed wearing a range of fancy hats and we saw all kinds of imaginative ideas, including cow boys and girls, St. Patrick’s, Farmers caps and lots of lovely woolly hats!
On Monday 15th October our Head Boy, Padraig, and Head Girl, Annie, presented a cheque for £256 on behalf of all the children.
