We were so thrilled to have been invited to St Joseph’s HS for the inaugural Fintan Doyle tournament. Fintan was a lifelong clubman and supporter, parent and governor of our school and the poignancy of the invitation was not lost on us.
The tournament was for boys of P6 age and so we were able to take from P5 and P6. We are delighted to inform you that our boys won the tournament outright, excelling on the field. Not only that, but our very own TJ lifted the man of the tournament award.
We couldn’t be more proud of them, not only, on the field, but they were fantastic ambassadors for our school showing impeccable composure, grace and manners.
Children, you’re a credit to your club, your area, your families and we are absolutely delighted that our school’s name will be the first to appear on the cup dedicated to the memory of such a great man.
