St Patrick’s Day Celebrations in the Nursery

We had great fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in the Nursery. There were lots of learning opportunities weaved into our play. We developed our Maths skills by using three circles to make shamrocks. Within the Arts, we experimented with making different shades of green. We worked on our fine motor skills by using cotton buds to paint patterned shamrocks. We made and described lime jelly and retold the story of St. Patrick. We also attended and participated in a concert and held a parade.
