Science Week in P5

P5 carried out a fun and engaging science experiment to celebrate Science Week.

Working collaboratively, the pupils took turns to place items such as toilet paper, blue paper towels, tissue paper, kitchen roll and wet wipes into a bottle of water, shook it, and observed how each material reacted with the water.

Prior to commencing the experiment the pupils made predictions about what each material would do when placed into the bottle of water.

The results were shocking to see and a stark reminder that they should only flush toilet paper down the toilet! 🚽
