Saint Mary's "Whole School Art Project" Creates a Bright and Cheerful, Welcome Display!

Well done to all our girls and boys from Nursery through to Primary 7 who worked on our large art painting. This piece was a work in progress that began last September and was completed in June 2020. Both Mrs Mc Geary and Mrs Kelly worked weekly with groups of children from each class to plan, sketch and paint this lovely art piece.

This compositional design incorporates everything that makes our school such a special place, featuring our school motto " Learning through faith, laughter and love" Each valued area of our school life and community has been depicted and symbolised including our Catholic ethos.

Children were encouraged to be creative and add a personal touch through illustrating their portraits. This project has provided the children with a creative learning experience through improving their art and design skills.You have done a fantastic job girls and boys, you should all be very proud of your work.
