Primary 7's final days at St. Mary's P.S.

24th Jun 2015

It was a busy week for Primary 7 with the Leavers' Ceremony on Monday evening and End of Year Mass on Tuesday, followed by a grand finale with a guard of honour leaving school for the last time as pupils of the school.

The Leavers' Ceremony was a great opportunity for the children to reflect and share their memories and experiences of their time in the school. And to present their parents with some lovely flowers to acknowledge the love and support they provide to their child. Thank you to Pauline Lappin, who presented the children with their pioneer pins.

A End of Year Mass was our last opportunity to come together with the children and mark the special celebration of Confirmation they received this year and to pray for them as they look forward to a new and exciting chapter entering secondary school. We would like to thank Father Kerr for celebrating this mass and speaking to the children and showing support and encouragement for them all.

Well done to Mr Magee, helping prepare and support the children through the busy year of Primary 7. And to all the staff who work with the children to help make their years in Primary School so special.

We wish the children good luck and best wishes.
