Paralympian Visit!

We were very privileged to welcome a gold medalist paralympic swimmer to St. Mary’s on Monday. Bethany Firth from Co.Down won an amazing two gold and two silver medals at the recent Paralympics in Tokyo. It was wonderful to hear Bethany’s story and have the opportunity to hold the very special medals. It was also a particularly proud moment for our P5 pupil Cadhla Firth to have her famous Auntie visit her school. All at St. Mary’s would like to thank Bethany and her Mum for taking the time to visit us and we have no doubt she will continue to add to her medal collection in the future.
