P7 World Book Day

Our Primary 7s celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March.

Miss McKernan led our P7s through our literacy and book related activities. They started by designing a new book cover for our class novel, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. They then painted their new designs which were entered into the class competition for ‘Best Design’. 

Next they completed their book swaps. This was when they swapped a book they no longer wanted with someone else doing the same. They were given time to read their new books before been treated to some hot chocolate and biscuits. 

Finally, the P7s designed their own PicCollage of 5 books they’d recommend their friends to read.
