Primary 1 are very busy learning their high frequency words each week through a range of learning experiences.We are developing a fun multi sensory approach through a variety of strategies ; See and Say, Spell and Reading, Arm Tapping and Air Writing. Children have been word building using magnetic letters, posted labels and cutting and sticking. These techniques work together to activate different parts of the brain through combining many repetitions of the word.
