News on bus routes

We are delighted that an additional EA bus will service this area from Monday 3rd September 2018. This is in addition to the current bus which transports pupils living in the Armaghbreague area. These buses are only for pupils who are eligible for free transport (2 miles or more from the school).

The additional bus will begin at Tassagh Bridge at 8.30am and travel to Ballymacnab Chapel for 8.40am, via Ferla Crossroads. It will then travel to the school, arriving at approximately 8.55am.

 The EA refer to this service as a 'request stop service' where you can get picked up anywhere along the route. They advise that parents should stand out with their child on the first few mornings and hail the bus so that the bus driver will know where he is required to stop.

If you are interested in getting either bus but are not the required distance from the school, there may be a facility for paying pupils. The EA will not know if this is an option until midterm.
