Mathletics Mania!

27th Nov 2018

Congratulations to all our Mathletes who competed with such enthusiasm last week in our November Numeracy Challenge! All our children from P2 to P7 were keenly involved in completing tasks and activities which tested and challenged their Numeracy skills with great success. Overall, the whole school clocked up a grand total of 1031 hours and 47 minutes online, earning us a grand total of 1,146,743 points. 135 Bronze Certificates were awarded, along with 21 Silver and 1 Gold. Those children with the highest scores in each class were awarded their certificates, prizes and badges at a special assembly today. A huge well done to Cathal, Níamh, Ava-Louise, Grace, Mollie and Annie on their achievement. Further congratulations to Ava-Louise for winning our Foundation/KS1 award and also to Annie in P7 who was our overall Mathlete of the competition with a staggering 60,359 points earned. The class awards went to Mrs Kerr's P4s and Ms Savage's P7s.
