Letter from Mrs Casey

2nd May 2020

Friday 1st May 2020
Dear Parent
I hope you and your families are well.
We continue to engage with you and your children through a variety of forums and hope that the provision has been both effective and manageable for you.
We have been receiving such fantastic work from the pupils and hopefully the activities continue to be enjoyable for them.
As we are now in May, we are encouraging our pupils to dedicate their prayer time to Our Lady and even set up a little May altar at home.
Our P4 pupils have been busy drawing pictures of Mary and Jesus and these will be displayed in St Patrick’s Church, Ballymacnab, for mass tomorrow night. The mass, which will be broadcast at 6.30pm on Saturday evening, will be dedicated to our Primary 4 pupils, who were due to make their First Holy Communion tomorrow. We remember them all in our prayers and look forward to celebrating their special day in the near future.
Our P7s are invited to use the Confirmation material which has been posted on the website. Fr McAleer, our Diocesan Advisor, has shared these resources with all schools for Primary seven pupils.
Our survey on ‘home learning’ has again been made available today and will remain open all of next week. Please take the time to complete it, as your feedback is vital to us for planning resources and activities.
Mrs McGeary has received some beautiful artwork from our P6&P7 pupils, acknowledging our NHS parents. Our P4&5 classes are invited to send their pictures this week and all work will be displayed on the school website.
We ask you to continue to remember all our key and NHS workers in your prayers.
I have posted a message to the pupils and will continue to do so every Friday.
As always, please get in contact if we can help you with anything or if you have a query.
Wishing you continued good physical and mental health in these difficult times.
Yours sincerely
Mrs Brenda Casey
