We were delighted to to welcome the Granemore Historical Society into our school. They are a recently founded group of volunteers who have a keen interest in preserving the rich history of Granemore.
The children from P6 and P7 have the unique opportunity to develop their knowledge of the local history through a scheme with ABC Council and the historical group.
The children prepared questions, listened to stories and recorded all they heard.
They will also be working with an artist to produce a substantial piece of work at the end. This will reflect the history of the local area.
