Charity News

16th Dec 2022

This term our school community has managed to raise an impressive £1520.00 towards various deserving charities. We wish to thank parents, grandparents and children for all your donations.

Our very enjoyable Coffee Morning in October raised £880.00. Thank you again for the array of goods sent in and to the staff and parents who helped make the morning such a success. Cheques were presented to Mr Stuart McDonald and family and the Fearon family on behalf of Cancer Fund For Children. Stuart and Brendan Fearon courageously travelled to the Sahara Desert for the charity. Mrs Ciara Lennon and Aoibhin were delighted to accept a cheque for The Children’s Cancer Unit, Belfast.
Our Halloween disco raised the wonderful total of £400.00. We presented a cheque to the Murphy and Brennan family on behalf of the Neurofibromatosis Charity. Congratulations to Martin and Richard on completing the New York marathon for such a worthy charity.

More recently the school supported the Sean Doran Boxing Club Charity Event with £50 and our Christmas jumper day raised £190.00 for the Hospice.
Thank you all once again for such generosity. We are proud of the support our school has been able to give to these charities.
