Are there more rectangle, square, circle or triangle shapes around the school grounds?

20th Oct 2023
Primary 5 were challenged with this question and made some great predictions about which shape would be most popular and why.  They then went off in shape teams to count how many of their allocated shapes they could find.  The rectangle team thought they were winning as they had lots of rectangle shaped fence posts to count but Sophie discovered that each post had four circle screws in and this then put the circle team in the lead.  Eventually, the class concluded that there were too many of each shape to count.  Who knew our school grounds had so many shapes.
