A Holy Week
Primary 3 had a good and Holy Week.
On Monday, we transferred our Literacy learning to Religion and used our senses to describe what the setting might have been like in Jerusalem on the first Palm Sunday.
On Tuesday, we went to Holy Mass and afterwards we looked at the Stations of the Cross.
On Wednesday, we painted beautiful sunrise pictures showing three crosses and an empty tomb. When we started blending our colours, we thought we had made a mess but we soon learned that you just have to trust the process. We couldn’t believe how great each picture turned out and it was really lovely to hear one child say, “I feel like an artist”. The paintings are on display in the chapel, please go and see for yourself how great they are.
On Thursday, we showed our love for one another by washing each others feet and talking about Jesus’s greatest commandment “love one another as I have loved you”. And we also made time for an Easter Egg hunt in our outdoor area.
Happy Easter from Primary 3
