🔥 Special Visit from Keady Fire Station! 🔥

Our P5 pupils had an exciting and educational day when two firefighters from Keady Fire Station came to visit! 🚒

They delivered an in-depth session on fire safety, highlighting the importance of having a clear escape plan at home in case of an emergency. The discussion didn’t stop there as they also covered water safety, farm safety, and even internet safety, giving pupils valuable tips to stay safe in all areas of life.

The children learned practical skills such as:

✅ How to react in a fire emergency

✅ Why planning and practicing an escape route matters

✅ Staying safe near water and on farms

✅ Being smart and responsible online

To make the day even more memorable, pupils got hands-on experience by trying on a firefighter’s helmet, and one lucky child even suited up in full firefighting attire! 👩‍🚒
