Our P5 pupils enjoyed their second Shared Education meet‑up with our friends from Ballybay National School. What a fantastic day of learning it was!
This session focused on Cultural Identity, giving pupils the chance to explore the two main cultures that shape life in Northern Ireland. Together, they:
🎨 Studied different flags and learned about the meanings behind their colours and symbols.
🧺 Examined cultural artefacts, discovering how everyday objects can tell stories about traditions, community, and history.
💬 Shared their thoughts and experiences, helping them build understanding, respect, and curiosity about each other’s backgrounds.
It was brilliant to see the pupils ask great questions, work together and celebrate the diversity that makes our communities unique.
