Our P7s had their very first session this week with baby Cobhlaith, and what a special moment it was! From curious questions to gentle smiles, the pupils were completely engaged as they learned all about her development, feelings, and the ways babies communicate.
The Roots of Empathy programme is already having such a positive impact. It encourages pupils to develop empathy, understanding, and emotional awareness—skills that go far beyond the classroom. Watching them connect with baby Cobhlaith and reflect on their own feelings was truly wonderful.
The children absolutely love these sessions, and we can’t wait to see how their confidence, kindness, and understanding continue to grow over the year. 💚✨
