Our P7s started the Cycling Proficiency scheme this week, and we’re excited to see them develop the skills and the confidence needed to cycle safely and responsibly 🚦
Over the coming weeks, pupils will learn:
- ✅ How to carry out basic bicycle safety checks
- ✅ How to signal clearly and communicate with other road users
- ✅ Safe positioning and awareness on the road
- ✅ How to make informed decisions when cycling in different situations
This important programme helps pupils build independence, confidence and road safety awareness, equipping them with life skills they will use well beyond the classroom.
