🌟 P7’s Second Visit With Baby Cobhlaith 🌟

18th Feb 2026

Today our P7 pupils enjoyed another special visit from baby Cobhlaith, and this week’s focus was all about crying.

As part of our learning, the class explored an important message:
Crying babies aren’t “bad” babies — they’re babies with a need.
Whether they’re hungry, tired, uncomfortable, or simply wanting reassurance, crying is one of the only ways a baby can communicate.

The children discussed different reasons babies cry, how adults respond, and why staying calm and caring makes such a difference. They showed great empathy and maturity as they observed how baby Cobhlaith expresses herself and how quickly she can be comforted.

Thank you again to baby Cobhlaith (and her grown-ups!) for helping us understand the world through a baby’s eyes. πŸΌπŸ’•
