π P7βs Second Visit With Baby Cobhlaith π
Today our P7 pupils enjoyed another special visit from baby Cobhlaith, and this week’s focus was all about crying.
As part of our learning, the class explored an important message:
Crying babies aren’t “bad” babies — they’re babies with a need.
Whether they’re hungry, tired, uncomfortable, or simply wanting reassurance, crying is one of the only ways a baby can communicate.
The children discussed different reasons babies cry, how adults respond, and why staying calm and caring makes such a difference. They showed great empathy and maturity as they observed how baby Cobhlaith expresses herself and how quickly she can be comforted.
Thank you again to baby Cobhlaith (and her grown-ups!) for helping us understand the world through a baby’s eyes. πΌπ
