Our P7 pupils have kicked off their first LEGO Spike lessons, diving into the exciting world of STEAM learning!
Learning Objectives Achieved:
- Define and understand a problem – They explored real-world challenges and identified what needs solving.
- Brainstorm and iterate solutions – Creative thinking in action! They tested and improved their ideas to meet the needs.
- Collaborate effectively – Teamwork makes the dream work! Engaging in meaningful discussions and sharing ideas.
Following the 5 E’s of ICT through STEAM:
- Engage – Capturing curiosity with hands-on robotics.
- Explore – Investigating how sensors and motors work.
- Explain – Discussing solutions and coding logic.
- Elaborate – Extending ideas by improving designs.
- Evaluate – Reflecting on what worked and what could be better.
