This week, our Primary 5 class became published creators using the Book Creator app on iPads.
The pupils designed their very own ebooks titled “My Favourite Books”.
The children were required to:
🎨 Create an eye‑catching front cover
🗂️ Build a clear and organised contents page
✍️ Write the title of each book and a short sentence explaining why they love it
🔈 Add audio to each page
Not only did they explore their reading interests, but they also developed important digital skills linked to the 5 Es of ICT:
🔹 Explore – Navigating the Book Creator app, discovering tools, and experimenting with layout and design.
🔹 Express – Sharing personal opinions about their favourite books through clear, thoughtful writing.
🔹 Exchange – Discussing ideas with classmates, giving feedback, and sharing completed pages.
🔹 Evaluate – Reviewing their ebook drafts, checking layout, clarity, and the quality of their writing.
🔹 Exhibit – Publishing their final ebooks and proudly showcasing their creations to the class!
Their final products were fantastic!
