We would like to say a huge thank you to our dedicated Eco Team and all the wonderful pupil volunteers who have been busy helping with a range of eco-friendly projects around our school 🌍💚
From taking part in a litter pick to keep our grounds clean, to clearing weeds from raised beds in preparation for sowing 🌿, their hard work has made a real difference.
The team also got stuck into filling tyres with topsoil and planting a variety of vegetables 🥕🥬—a fantastic way to reuse materials sustainably!
Not only that, but they have been caring for our environment by watering school flowers 🌸 and sowing wildflower seeds to help support local wildlife and pollinators 🐝🦋
The team also filled pots with compost and distributed sunflower seeds to each class for this year’s Sunflower Growing Competition… 🌻
We’re so proud of their enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment to looking after our environment.
