Primary 3 Special Assembly
29th May 2025
As we near the end of May, the month of Mary, we look back on Primary 3's beautiful assembly in honour of Our Blessed Mother.
The children's assembly began with the presentation of flowers to Mary. They then talked about how we can honour Mary and they told us an interesting fact about how the ladybird is called after Our Lady. Primary 3 also shared some of the many names, which is Mary is known by. How many names can you think of?
The boys and girls sang 'A Mhuire Mhàthair' beautifully in Irish and English and Chloe was fantastic at playing this song on the tin whistle.
The assembly was made even more special by a last minute decision to hold it outside in the beautiful weather.
After the assembly, Primary 3 gave each class a vase of flowers for their May Altar and several for the school May. Primary 3 then took the remaining jars down to the chapel, where they said a beautiful decade of the rosary and presented the remaining flowers to Our Lady of Fatima and our Blessed Mother.
Thank you Prinary 3 for showing such devotion and love to Mary, our Mother and the patron saint of our school. Thank you Mary for always being with Primary 3 and leading them to your son Jesus.
